Socials
are either informal (the bar is open after a training
night) or formal. Formal events, for which some prior
advice/etiquette training is given, include:
- An
Annual Dinner for all Officer Cadets and staff,
Black Tie Dinners, at which a number of VIP guests
are entertained
- A
Cocktail Party - a definite 'not to be missed'
event.
All Officer Cadets and staff are members of the Mess
and the Mess Committee is charged with arranging a
series of parties, including the Christmas Ball.
We
know from feedback from previous Academic Years that
the social side of SUOTC is very highly regarded.
